In this video, we present the improvements to the „Events“ module that were implemented in the system on 1 March 2023. The most important points here are
Location from Contact details: When a new event is created, the location can be taken directly from the contact details of the selected person or organisation. This makes it easier to enter appointments and enables the location to be displayed quickly on Google Maps.
Contact data types: There are now various contact data types, such as „Workplace“ and „Private“. These can be assigned to people or organisations. In addition, new contact data types can be created, such as „Private employees“. These contact data types can be blocked so that they cannot be viewed by all employees.
Event types: There is now a screen for event types. Users can create their own event types and assign a layout to them. For example, an event type can be created that only records a date and a person, or an event type that records a start and end date and a person.
